We are looking to recruit a Speech and Language teaching assistant.  The role will include teaching targetted groups of children as well as individuals.   Working alongside the SENCo and class teachers, you will tailor and deliver programmes to meet children’s individual needs.

Previous experience:

• You may have experience of speech and language work, either through previous work with children or a qualification.

OR

• You may be an experienced TA

Experience in one of these areas is essential. 

The successful applicant should:

• Have good mathematics and English skills
• Be able to communicate well with children, parents and colleagues
• Be willing to learn and develop skills to support children’s learning
• Be flexible and understand that plans change
• Have a sound knowledge and understanding of the safeguarding of children
• Be forward thinking and proactive
