Information about the school

Long Mead Community Primary School is situated in Tonbridge. Its attractive site has a large playing field and playgrounds and is surrounded by woodlands yet close to the town. Forest School Studies are offered on site as part of our curriculum using our wonderful grounds and our own trained member of staff.

We have one of the few integral nursery schools in Kent enabling all children to benefit by being part of the school community from the age of three. Our classrooms are large and airy and we have a dedicated art room, computer suite, science lab and well stocked library, as well as several breakout spaces for small group work. The school is very proud of its attitude to sports and being physically active. We start each day with the daily mile and actively engages in many tournaments and festivals.

We are a happy, caring and supportive school with high standards. We are committed and passionate in changing life opportunities for our children through an exciting and enriched curriculum. Through our values of respect, responsibility, resilience, kindness, teamwork and excellence, Long Mead promotes, in partnership with all parents, an environment where every child is able to fulfil their potential.
