We are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants to join our Alternative Provisions Team at our Alternative Curriculum Centre on the Westwood Industrial Estate. The successful candidates will work with teachers to support teaching, learning and behaviour management, providing general and specific assistance to students and staff under the direction, guidance and direct supervision of the classroom teacher and Alternative Provisions Manager.

 

Candidates must have Level 2 or 3 NVQ Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) with proficient practical skills, ideally within a secondary school. Experience of working with children who exhibit challenging behaviours is essential.
