Lady Boswell’s C. E. (Aided) Primary School is a Church school. We are a caring and committed team, where the rights and responsibilities of pupils, staff and parents are valued.

We wish to appoint a School Business Manager to play a key role in the administration and leadership of our school. The successful candidate will be a member of the senior leadership team, with responsibility for undertaking aspects of the school leadership and management including:

  • Financial Management
  • Facilities Management
  • Health and Safety Management
  • Personnel Management

The successful applicant will be required to work full time, 37 hours per week - 8.00am – 4.30pm (4.00pm Fridays), 52 weeks per year. Holiday entitlement of 27 days will be taken during the school holidays.

The salary will be Kent Range 10 £33,082 - £38,913 or Kent Range 11 £39,108 - £44,783 depending upon skills, qualification and experience.

The school will consider a flexible, term time only role for the right candidate and the salary would be adjusted accordingly. 

The successful candidate will be expected to have:

  • A certificate or diploma in school business management or relevant experience (level 4/5)
  • Leadership and management experience of finance and health and safety
  • Experience using financial management software (ideally FMS and BPS)
  • Experience of premises and facilities management
  • The ability to multi task in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A sense of humour and works well as part of a team
  • A desire to be involved in school life
  • Be someone who enjoys working with children
  • A genuine desire to fully involve yourself in the life of our school and to work as part of the Lady Boswell’s family
  • Have regard to the Christian character of the School and its Foundation

Set on the edge of the beautiful Knole Park Estate in Sevenoaks, Lady Boswell’s Primary School has a strong sense of history, having been established in 1675. We are a Christian school which provides a safe and happy haven that allows every child to develop and learn in a kind and caring environment whilst achieving the highest academic standards.

Although established in 1675, our building is much newer, with the latest part completed around 2013.
