We are continuing to grow in size and reputation and will have a new teaching position available from September.  We are looking for someone to teach KS1/lower KS2.

As a Primary Teacher you will:

  • Plan and teach lessons and sequences of lessons to the classes you are assigned within the context of the School’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of school’s policies, practices and procedures in such a way as to support the school’s vision and values.
  • Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • A relevant Degree and/or teaching qualification, however we welcome applications from newly qualified teachers.
  • Experience of teaching in a Primary environment
  • A commitment to fostering all aspects of the curriculum.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and targets.

  • Plus, you will have 3 hours a week directed time, either directed by the Leadership team or time to plan and mark.

St George’s is a successful, oversubscribed school where achievement is rising rapidly, all we want is to provide the best possible education for our pupils.  As of September 2016, St George’s expanded to include a Primary phased provision, and we are looking to further develop our team.  This year will see us grow to include Year 5 before our final expansion in September 2020 when we will have pupils in every year group from Reception to post-16.
