We are looking to recruit an Academic Mentor to help our students achieve their potential by overcoming barriers to learning and providing support in the classroom. 

The hours of work are 8.30am – 3.15pm, Monday- Friday, term time only.

Core responsibilities will involve:

Assisting students with their educational and social development on an individual and group basis

Developing an understanding of the special educational needs of the students concerned, enabling them to achieve their academic potential

Building and maintaining successful relationships with students whilst treating them with respect and consideration

Promoting independent learning with the students
