Caretaker

Kent Range 3 (£15,628 - £17,188)

30 hours per week, all year round.

(Mon-Fri- 7:30am to 10:30am and 3pm to 6pm)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, capable and proactive Caretaker to carry out general caretaking duties. The successful candidate will need to be flexible, self-motivated, have good communication skills and a good understanding of the health and safety requirements.   Previous experience of working in a school would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Duties include:

  • Health and Safety checks
  • Carrying out basic building repairs
  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Record keeping
  • Statutory testing and recording
  • Key holder responsibilities

We are a thriving, high performing, rural primary school nestled in the village of St Margaret’s at Cliffe.

With capacity for 210 children, we attract families from within our village and other nearby villages, as well as the local towns of Deal and Dover.
