Advert

The Trust is looking for an exceptional Clerk to assist its Governing Bodies and Academy Committees in driving our Academies forward in their pursuit of becoming outstanding in all areas.

We are looking for a Clerk to cover our existing bank of clerks to cover annual leave and sickness.

Successful candidates will work to ensure that all aspects of governance are effective and that they provide support in an efficient and competent manner through their Clerking role to the Governing Body.

The Clerk will minute Governing Body meetings and will support the Governors with any sub-committee meetings.  This is a fantastic and flexible role for an individual looking for part-time work.

Many of our Governing Bodies and Academy Committee meetings will be held in the evenings or during school hours, therefore we are looking for an individual who is able to be flexible with hours of working.  Due to the location of our Academies throughout Kent, the individual should have access to a vehicle/transport (mileage can be claimed between Academies).

Candidates should have previous experience of taking minutes and preparing meeting papers, but do not necessarily have to have experience of Clerking within a multi-academy trust as training will be provided.
