Administration Assistant

We are looking to recruit a flexible, friendly, motivated and organised person to provide administrative support to the Thanet Inclusion Support Services and Laleham Gap School.

The successful applicant would assist in the smooth running of the team, taking a proactive role in relation to its day-to-day functioning. Co-ordinating and planning training events and key meetings.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Work effectively with all stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support for Thanet Inclusion Support Service
  • Organise and co-ordinate training schedule and events
  • Develop and maintain all office systems both computerised and manual
  • Have good interpersonal, organisation and administrative skills

You must have previous administration experience and be able to work as part of a team being able to multi task, organise and prioritise workload to achieve deadlines.

The position is for 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days) with the salary being Kent Range 5 FTE £18,059 - £19,863 (pro-rota to hours and weeks worked £15,618.51 - £16,761.06).

 

Information about the school

Laleham Gap is a Communication and Interaction Special School. We have pupils aged from 4 to 18 years of age. Most of our pupils have a diagnosis of Autism. All pupils have an EHCP. Most pupils will achieve some GCSEs or equivalent at age 16. Laleham Gap is a new, high quality and well-resourced environment and the opportunity to work with an established, experienced and highly motivated team.
