We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, enthusiastic Food and Nutrition teacher to join our Focus School Linton Park Campus. The position is to support students across KS2 – KS4 with Food & nutrition and KS5 with Chef Skills. You will be adept at coaching our students to see and lead through challenges in their learning, so they make the best possible progress in each and every lesson.

This position is open to NQTs.

You will:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status and a degree or similar Food related qualification
  • Possess recent experience of teaching Food and Nutrition to KS2-KS4
  • Knowledge of GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition exam specifications
  • Be relentlessly positive, with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have a diverse set of skills which will enable you to be flexible working in the classroom and our learning centre
  • Be able to work creatively and strategically in an ‘all-through’ school
  • Be an innovative and reflective practitioner who is keen to learn
  • Committed to improving the life chances of every child

OneSchool Global UK Maidstone Campus (formerly Focus School Linton Park Campus) is an independent, all-through, co-educational, non-selective school for children aged 7-18. It has a strong Christian ethos and there are 195 pupils on its roll. Linton Park is situated in Maidstone, Kent. The school was established on its current site in 2008 in purpose-built accommodation, which has been further developed since including a new state-of-the-art Learning Centre for Primary students.
