Are you passionate about making a difference to the way that pupils learn and engage?

Do you have excellent communication skills and the ability to use a range of supporting techniques to motivate pupils? If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

This is an exciting opportunity to work with and have an impact on some of the most vulnerable pupils across Maidstone and Malling.

The Maidstone and Malling Alternative Provision provides education and support for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties who have been or are at risk of permanent exclusion. MMAP provides a short term programme aiming to build self- confidence and resilience and to reengage and reintegrate pupils back into their home school.

Every one of our students is treated as an individual and has the support of a highly qualified and experienced staff team including teachers, teaching assistants, reintegration assistant and welfare staff.

Due to the challenging behaviour of our pupils you will be flexible and understanding with a strong sense of humour. We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic, reliable, caring and keen to rise to the daily challenges in supporting high quality and innovative education programmes.

An Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check from the Disclosing and Barring Service will be required for this post.

If you are interested in this post please contact Stacie Smith on 01622 753772 for an informal discussion.
