We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and suitably experienced individual for the post of Learning Behaviour Mentor, to work alongside the Senior Leadership Team and teaching team to further raise standards of behaviour and improve learning opportunities across the school. We are looking for an individual who is also confident in covering classes across the school where required on an 'ad-hoc' basis. This is a non-class based role.

We are a small (but ambitious!) Church of England Primary School, ready to build on previous recent successes and continue our journey towards being an outstanding school.

The role will encompass all aspects of supporting behaviour, wellbeing and the learning of our pupils. This includes supporting other staff with behaviour strategies and being a first port of call for vulnerable pupils who need support managing their behaviour or assistance reducing their barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will be confident, flexible and efficient. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential and strong knowledge of managing behaviour and working in school settings is vital.

 We can offer you:

  • A school full of fantastic children who will add sparkle to every working day!
  • A supportive staff team who are united in their commitment to provide the best for our pupils.
  • Effective and tailored professional development opportunities to support you in your professional journey.

Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged; please contact the school office to arrange this. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
