Nurture Teaching Assistant

Newlands Primary School

We are developing our Nurture Provision at Newlands and we have an exciting opportunity for a TA to join our team in the Nurture Provision under the guidance and support of the SENCO and Behaviour Teacher. Experience of working in a Nurture Group is desirable but not essential, recent experience of supporting pupils social, emotional and mental health needs is vital.

Responsibilities will include; supporting and assisting the TA in setting targets for Nurture children, delivering the Nurture and National Curriculum, liaising with parents/carers and class teachers and monitoring and tracking the progress of the Nurture children.

This is a part-time post, term time only for 32.5 hours per week and will be on a fixed term contract untill the 31st August 2019.
