Information about the school

Welcome to North Borough Junior School. We are a successful and popular school that keeps learning and fun at the heart of all we do. Our aim is that each child enjoys school and has a passion for learning. We believe that children need to be happy to learn to their full potential and we design lessons and support systems to ensure that our children feel safe, happy and ready to learn.

We have a talented and creative group of teachers and teaching assistants who plan a curriculum that engages our pupils’ curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Our teachers and teaching assistants also provide a wide range of lunchtime and after school clubs to develop pupils’ social skills, interests and talents too.

Our Values underpin everything that we do at North Borough Junior School, these include: Respect, Generosity, Resilience, Equality and Integrity. We expect every child to be kind, safe, responsible and to work hard.

We have recently Federated with St Pauls Infant School. Our values and families are shared. This is an exciting development for us all.

We celebrate difference and individuality wherever possible and work hard so that each child recognises what is unique about themselves and is proud of this.

We work closely with all parents and encourage them to volunteer, take part in organised activities and attend any open days and curriculum meetings.
