We are looking for a highly efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable Teaching Assistant to work initially in Early Years Foundation Stage with the flexibility to move into Key Stage 1 or 2 in the future. You will need to hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, GCSE Maths and English grade C or above and be IT literate. You will also need to be energetic, supportive and a positive team player with a sense of humour and excellent communication skills. Previous Teaching Assistant experience and a First Aid qualification would be an advantage. You will be assisting pupils, some with a variety of heightened special needs including Autism and children who require toileting and changing. You must also be willing to contribute to the continued improvement of our wonderful school! Birchington Church of England Primary School is a friendly school on the edge of Thanet and we currently have 425 pupils on role.
