Required asap a qualified teacher(s) of PE/Sport who are able to work as the SSCO for the two families of schools on the Isle of Sheppey In addition to undertaking outreach and support work there is the possibility of teaching within the PE department of the Academy.

This post is initially of a temporary nature, (until August 31st 2011) The successful applicant(s) can work a total of 4 days a week as SSCO with the possibility of one day a week teaching within the Academy.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, who is a highly effective communicator committed to developing extra-curricular activities, passionate about Physical Education and community sport, and Secondary or Primary trained with a PE Specialism (QTS).

Responsibilities will include involvement in delivering and mentoring leadership programmes, leading development of specific sport(s) and engaging all schools in participating in intra and inter school competition.
