We are seeking to provide a successor to a lady who has served the school for many years. She will continue to work part -time giving the successful applicant the opportunity to assimilate some of the duties without undue pressure. As we are a small school the candidate will need to be adaptable and able to give priority to urgent matters that may arise without notice.

The job will require the successful candidate to be the "first face" of the school to visitors and to telephone callers and to relive the Headteacher and teaching staff of as many general administration duties as possible. Also to liaise with the Chairman of the Finance and Premises committee on financial matters, ordering goods and maintaining financial records. Please read the job description for more details. The hours of work are 37 per week and the salary will be in the range Kent scheme 6.

St. Josephs is a small Catholic school in the growing village of Aylesham and is part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership multi-academy trust. The school has 5 classes, two of which remain as mixed year group, and the total number of classes growing to 6 from 2026/27.
