| We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Drama to provide maternity cover for the period of April – December 2010. Drama is an integral part of the school specialism and as such has outstanding facilities housed within our new £1,000,000 Arts Centre. Drama has a high profile, is popular with students, and achieves excellent examination results. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Drama across the age and ability range. A commitment to extra-curricular activities will be essential. |

Valley Park Community School is a mixed 11-18 High School with approx 1,000 students on role. The school occupies a 46 acre site which is shared with a neighouring Grammar School. The school is part of the Maidstone Excellence in Cities Project and is currently in a soft federation with Invicta Grammar School.
