Offham School require a Teaching Assistant to support two pupils within the class setting on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and all day Thursday. A good standard of general education such as NVQ level 1 or equivalent (or a willingness to train) together with good numeracy and literature skills. Some previous experience of working with children is necessary along with the ability to relate well to children and adults, understanding their needs and being able to respond accordingly. The postholder will be someone who will uphold the school's policy regarding the safeguarding of pupils and promoting the welfare of children. The postholder will require an enhanced CRB disclosure and proof of eligibility to work in the UK even if you are a UK citizen.

Offham Primary is a rural school with 7 classes and is located approximately 3 miles from the town of West Malling. The school serves a supportive community of children and parents, who are enthusiastic about learning and leading their school.
