Pent Valley Technology College: 11-18 mixed Contract: Permanent Start Date: Immediate

We wish to appoint an outstanding and dynamic Science teacher for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

The school has recently achieved a GOOD rating following a full Ofsted inspection in February 2013. We are now looking to appoint a motivated individual to join us on the path to OUTSTANDING.

We have an ambitious vision for our school driven by our excellent team to ensure our students experience as much Outstanding and Good practice as possible. In line with this we are looking for a candidate who can regularly deliver lessons to these standards.

We are committed to your further professional development and provide a first class induction programme along with rewarding career opportunities. We provide excellent high quality training and development at all career stages. To help us accomplish this we are involved in research and development projects which are supported by good facilities and access to new technologies.

Information about the school

Ours is a small school with a main focus on traditional academic subjects. We embrace new technologies and techniques, but still believe that teaching is most effectively delivered in traditional classrooms to small teaching groups.
