St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School is looking for a new Headteacher to inspire, motivate and support the whole school in building upon our good status and moving towards outstanding.
We are a large primary school, in Tunbridge Wells, that works closely with our local church in practising the Catholic faith and offering a high level of pastoral care. Our staff are passionately committed to the inclusion of all pupils and the results of this can be seen in the achievements of the children.
The school has:
• close links with our three feeder parishes
• a strong Catholic ethos
• enthusiastic and motivated children from a wide catchment area and diverse backgrounds
• dedicated and outstanding staff, committed to excellence in teaching
• a creative and well-resourced curriculum
Candidates should be effective in balancing a strategic and operational approach with the unique demands of running a Catholic school. In return we promise you a supportive Governing Body with a commitment to your continued professional development.
It is essential that applicants are practising Catholics, but not necessarily from a Catholic school.
We welcome applications from existing Headteachers, Deputy Heads or those with experience of working in a Senior Management Team.
