The Governors of Grange Park School are looking for a charismatic and determined Headteacher who will lead and inspire our staff and children with a considerate and supportive approach.

Grange Park provides a specialist provision for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and the successful candidate will have proven experience and knowledge in this area. An excellent teacher, you will lead our staff by example with an impressive track record of effective teaching. This role is based at our Wrotham site but you will also have responsibility for our sites in Snodland and Gillingham, and you will be expected to balance and manage the challenges this presents.

We are a very friendly and welcoming school and are lucky to have the benefit of a new building which is specially designed for teaching children with ASC. We work closely with the local schools and the successful candidate will recognise this as an exciting opportunity for further development. We have a hardworking, dedicated staff and a supportive and encouraging Governing body.

Our School

Grange Park School is an autism specific provision for children aged 12 to 19 located in a purpose built school in Wrotham and for children aged 9 - 11 located in Stansted village 3 miles from the main school site. The school also operates a post16 provision in partnership with a local college in Maidstone and Medway. All of our pupils have educational heath care plans.

Currently judged as “good with outstanding features"; by Ofsted. We are committed to providing our pupils with the best possible learning opportunities and supporting them in their development.
