Midday Meals & Activities Supervisor We need an active, positive person to work with our team of Midday Meals & Activities Supervisors. The right person will recognise the importance of a calm, happy lunchtime for all pupils both whilst eating their meal and participating in organised well structured play and sport activities. We need someone who can organise the setting up of the lunchtime meal, supervise whilst children have lunch as well as having the experience and ability to organise a range of appropriate activities either outside on our field and playground or indoors when necessary.

Previous experience of working with children aged 4-11 is essential. Although the successful person will be expected to work with our existing mid-day supervisory team, the job specification is different. The person will have experience of managing sports and team building activities for boys and girls and will be able to organise and supervise a variety of safe, outdoor activities during lunchtimes for large groups of pupils. We want someone who will encourage and motivate all pupils even those who do not normally do a lot of physical activity. When the weather is wet, we would expect the postholder to create interesting and challenging indoor activities within the classrooms. Training and support will be given but we are looking for a member of staff who will be able to use their own initiative daily to plan safe and rewarding games to promote a healthier lifestyle for our pupils.
