Job Title:  Pastoral & Wellbeing Manager

Salary:  G7 PT20 to PT 25   £30,621 -£34,172pa FTE

Actual salary:  £26,810pa to £29,920pa

Employer Pension Contributions of 20.5%  (LGPS)

Hours: 37 per week, 39 weeks per year

We are looking to appoint a Pastoral & Wellbeing Manager to join our team. You will work with parents, students, and other staff to ensure that our students’ educational, social, and emotional development needs are met. You will be a key point of contact liaising with parents and agencies to support student engagement and participation (including disadvantaged, SEND, and vulnerable students) with a view to achieving excellent attendance.

Our ideal candidate will:

  •        Have experience of working with young people who have social/emotional difficulties.
  •        Have a good understanding of child development and learning processes.
  •        Have an understanding of strategies to support young people’s mental health.
  •        Have the ability to foster strong and positive relationships with parents and young people.
