We are seeking a reliable, proactive and well-organised Site Manager to join our friendly school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of site management, including health and safety, security, routine maintenance, minor repairs, contractor management and ensuring our buildings and grounds are well maintained. Working closely with the Headteacher and Office Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day operation of the school and contribute to the future development of our site.

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st July 2027

Hours: 7am-10am Monday-Friday

Weeks: Term Time with opportunities for occasional overtime during the half term/holidays if needed

 

Information about the school

Yalding St Peter and St Paul CEP School is a village primary in a beautiful rural setting which has good links with the local community. We were last graded as a good school, by Ofsted, in December 2024 and by SIAMS in March 2019.

We currently have 145 children on roll who are organised into 6 classes with approximately 24 pupils in a class. Our EYFS/KS1 has a mixed Year R/1, mixed Year 1/2. Our KS2 consists of Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.
