Woodpeckers Pre-School, based in Cranbrook, Kent requires an early year’s practitioner, qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

Start Date: September 2026

Hours

Tuesday 8.15 - 4.15pm

Wednesday 8.15 - 1.15pm

Thursday 8.15 - 4.15pm

Friday Monday 8.15am - 1.15pm.

Term Time Only (38 weeks per year).

(Some flexiblity might be possible for the right candidate).

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a recognised (minimum) Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Demonstrates a warm, responsive, and child-centred approach
  • Has strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development
  • Can contribute to a safe, stimulating learning environment
  • Holds Full Paediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Woodpeckers is run by a highly qualified team of early years practitioners who are passionate about offering children the best possible early years experience, ensuring they are ready to take the ‘next steps’ on their amazing life journey as they move onto school or a new setting.
