About the Role

Are you an organised, friendly and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a busy environment where no two days are the same?

Featherby Partnership Schools are looking for an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our welcoming team. Working across our Infant and Junior Schools, you'll provide high-quality administrative and reception support, helping ensure our school offices run smoothly while offering a warm, professional service to pupils, families, visitors and colleagues.

Whether you have previous school office experience or are looking to bring your administration skills into education, we'd love to hear from you.

As part of this varied role, you will:

  • Provide reception support and welcome visitors, parents and contractors
  • Answer telephone and email enquiries as a professional first point of contact
  • Support attendance, admissions and wider pupil administration
  • Maintain accurate records using the school's Management Information System (MIS)
  • Assist with school events, trips, clubs and general office administration
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school and Maritime Academy Trust

Who You Are

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Enjoys building positive relationships and providing excellent customer service
  • Is confident communicating with children, families, staff and visitors
  • Can manage competing priorities in a busy office environment
  • Has good IT skills (experience of Arbor, SIMS or other MIS systems is desirable but not essential)
  • Is organised, accurate and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Shares our commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and supporting every child to succeed

Previous experience in a school office is desirable, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
