Lady Boswell’s C. E. (Aided) Primary School is a Church school - which has been awarded an Outstanding Award by Ofsted in 2022. We are a caring and committed team, where the rights and responsibilities of pupils, staff and parents are valued. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team.

The role is for 13 hours across 2 days a week (Thursday & Friday) within Key Stage 2, term time only, from 8.30 - 15.30. Pay is Kent Scheme: KSA - FTE £26,168, Actual salary £7,843.54). 

 

This role is initially for 12 months, but may be extended.

 

The successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Be someone who enjoys working with children
  • Be a good team player, flexible and prepared to use their initiative
  • Be prepared to work in either Early years, key stage 1 or key stage 2
  • Be committed to their own professional development
  • Be imaginative, creative, very energetic and interested in moving on children’s learning
  • Have good interpersonal skills
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Have an interest in classroom display
  • Have regard to the Christian character of the School and its Foundation

Information about the school

Set on the edge of the beautiful Knole Park Estate in Sevenoaks, Lady Boswell’s Primary School has a strong sense of history, having been established in 1675. We are a Christian school which provides a safe and happy haven that allows every child to develop and learn in a kind and caring environment whilst achieving the highest academic standards.

Although established in 1675, our building is much newer, with the latest part completed around 2013.

Ofsted Inspection April 2026 - STRONG in all areas:

  • Leaders prioritise staff's workload and wellbeing. Consequently, staff are well motivated and very positive about working at the school.
