Hours: 18 per week | Pattern: 08:30–14:30, 3 days (flexible) Pay: Kent Scheme C, FTE £265,956, Actual £11,430.47 TTO, 39 working weeks Reports to: Finance & Office Manager

St Nicholas School is looking for a highly organised, proactive Finance & HR Assistant to support our busy office and ensure smooth financial and HR operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance & Office Manager / HR Advisor

  • Manage club finance and admin

  • Debt collection & banking

  • HR administration & DBS checks

  • Maintain the Single Central Record

  • Process purchase orders, invoices & BACS

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Trips finance

  • Manage school dinner payments

 

What You’ll Bring

  • GCSE English & Maths (C or above)

  • Finance experience (school setting desirable)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication & organisation

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

  • Confident with Office 365

  • Experience with FMS and Arbor (advantageous)

  • Calm, positive, “canโ€‘do” approach
