We are looking for an experienced School Business Manager to join our nurturing infant school. 

The role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making and improvement for our whole school community. 

We are looking for a proactice and highly-organised professional with: 

  • First-rate analytical and communication skills to manage prioriites and projects to deadlines.
  • Experience in school financial management, including budget setting, monitoring and financial reporting.
  • Strong people management skills and knowledge of HR.
  • Secure knowledge of health & safety, premises management and compliance, including data protection (GDPR). 

You will be line manager for our admin, site and wraparound care teams and report to the Headteacher.

The position is 30 hours per week across 40 weeks of the year. Working days and hours are negotiable.

Pupils are joyful and safe in this nurturing school. Children make a strong start in early years, where the school's exceptional pastoral care begins. Pupils feel special and highly valued. Staff are dedicated to finding unique talents in every pupil.

The school roll is currently 256 pupils, spread over nine classes (three classes per year group).
