Exciting Opportunity – Teaching Assistant (Early Years)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced class teacher in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Do you have experience within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), or a genuine interest in supporting young children as they begin their school journey? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Our Early Years provision follows a child-initiated approach, aligned with current guidance, where children are encouraged to explore, discover and develop at their own pace. We strongly believe that an enabling environment allows children to flourish, and that being a strong role model—supporting children to build friendships and sustain kind, positive behaviours—is just as important as developing phonics, reading, writing and maths skills.

Hours of work:
08:45am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 3:30pm

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in EYFS or a passion for working with young children
  • Is caring, patient, and enthusiastic
  • Can support children’s learning through play-based and child-led activities
  • Is a strong role model for behaviour and relationships
  • Works effectively as part of a team

In return, we offer:

  • A friendly, supportive team
  • The chance to work with an experienced and dedicated teacher
  • A rewarding role helping children make the best start to their education

If you are passionate about early years education and want to make a difference, we are keen to hear from you. Give us a call on 01892 531395 to find out more or just apply.

Please note: we reserve the right to close this vacancy early and amend interview dates should we receive a high volume of applications.
