UKAT (University of Kent Academies Trust) is seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Teacher of Geography to join Brompton Academy on a fixed-term contract from September to December. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a popular and high-achieving department committed to academic excellence, high-quality teaching and learning, and raising student aspiration.

The successful candidate will be an innovative and confident classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge in Geography and the ability to teach across Key Stages 3–5. You will be passionate about inspiring and challenging students of all abilities, supporting them to develop a deep understanding of geographical concepts, enquiry skills, and global awareness.

You will play a key role in delivering a broad, engaging and ambitious Geography curriculum that fosters curiosity, resilience, and independent thinking. Our students are motivated and capable, and you will support them to achieve excellent outcomes while encouraging them to reach their full potential.

The Geography department at Brompton Academy within UKAT is collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking, with a strong commitment to sharing best practice and continuously improving teaching and learning. The role also includes contributing to enrichment opportunities such as fieldwork, trips, and wider curriculum initiatives that enhance students’ learning beyond the classroom.
