Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Music lessons across all key stages.
  • Contribute to the development of the Music curriculum, including Sixth Form provision.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and curriculum innovation.
  • Lead or support extracurricular activities, including ensembles, performances, concerts, and productions.
  • Engage fully in professional development and school improvement initiatives.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Is passionate about Music education and inspiring young people through creativity and performance.
  • Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to student success.
  • Is excited by the opportunity to help shape a growing Sixth Form Music offer.
  • Has the ambition to contribute to wider school life and future leadership opportunities.
