Due to the expansion of the school, we are seeking to appoint a full-time Teacher of PSHE from September 2022. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, teaching, marking and assessing PSHE with cross over topics in RE to years 7 to 11 and will work in conjunction with the PSHE and RE leads. Candidates should be familiar with and confident to deliver the newly statutory elements of PSHE.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about PSHE and understands the contribution that PSHE makes to a students’ educational journey, equipping young people with sound knowledge and understanding to ensure that they are fully aware of the needs to live a healthy, safe and productive lifestyle.

The successful candidate will be able to motivate and inspire students to become effective global citizens. In addition, they will be open minded, resilient, with a great sense of humour and have excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative working.

Previous experience of teaching RE at Key Stage 3 and 4 is preferred, but not essential. The position is open to ECTs as well as more experienced colleagues.
