We are seeking to appoint an experienced and well qualified Teaching Assistant to join our team of enthusiastic, friendly and dedicated staff until October 2022. 

This position will be based in Key Stage 2 (year 3) and is a term time only position, starting as soon as possible. The post is for 30 hours per week, as follows: 

Monday: 08.45 - 15.15 pm

Tuesday: 08.45 - 15.15pm

Wednesday 08.45 - 15.15pm

Thursday 08.45 - 15.15pm

Friday 08.45 - 15.15pm

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate their ability to:

• Support in class under the direction of the teacher.
• Use skills and knowledge to support the learning styles of children.
• Follow and adapt lesson plans.
• Prepare resources and teaching materials
• Support consistently high expectations of pupil behaviour and achievement.
• Be responsible for leading directed interventions with pupils on a regular basis. 
• Support specific Special Educational needs. 
• Supervise the class in the teacher's absence. 
• Undertake lunchtime and playground supervision duties each day.
• Effectively and appropriately maintain high standards of behaviour.

• Have experience in supporting childrens' learning in KS1.
• Are able to positively promote the Christian vision and values of the school.
• Have the passion and motivation to help children succeed.
• Have a growth mindset and be open to attend further training for this role.
• Can work closely with the staff as a positive team member.
• Can demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Have attained GCSE or equivalent Maths and English at a minimum  C grade.
