We are looking to appoint a HLTA to work at Wrotham School.

Due to a successful High Needs Funding on a vacancy has become available for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for 32.5 hours per week. The role will predominately be classroom based and require the successful candidate to support students with their academic learning.

The candidate will need to have Maths and English at GCSE grade C or above and it essential that the applicant has the relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualifications. Further education qualifications are desirable but not essential. Experience of working with young people in an educational setting is an advantage in this role.

The role is paid on Kent Range 5 starting at £19,723 for a full time position, and a pro rata salary of £14,381.  This post has been initially agreed for a fixed term contract until 31st August 2021 and is dependent on HNF funding.  In the event this funding is withdrawn, a minimum of a 4 weeks paid notice period will be given.
