We are seeking a passionate and innovative Teacher of Science to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality science education to students, inspiring them to explore the wonders of the natural world and develop a lifelong love for the subject.

Leigh Academy Hugh Christie boasts a successful and thriving Science department, fully staffed with dedicated professionals who are committed to providing an outstanding education for our students. As part of our commitment to academic excellence, we provide opportunities for teachers to teach across the key stages, including triple science and A-level classes. 

We’d like to hear from you if you have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Previous experience teaching science at the secondary level, including A-level classes, is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in opportunities for growth and learning.

 

This role is offering MPS based on experience. Please note that this is a permanent role. The Academy are open to consider part time or full time applications.
