We are offering an opportunity to be part of our fantastic school, which aims to provide a personalised education for every child.This could be the ideal role for you if you are passionate about making a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable children who need additional support in maintaining their educational engagement. Alongside supporting the pupils' engagement with their formal education you will also have the chance to develop their skills and resilience to succeed in their futures and achieve their full potential. This will include working with them in lessons either 1:1 or in small groups, running interventions for them, supporting with related paperwork and co-ordinating with relevant stakeholders.

We are looking for SEND Learning Mentors who are:

  • committed team players with energy and drive;
  • able to support children with a range of social and emotional challenges;
  • able to deliver support, both in lesson and small groups in reading, writing and mathematics;
  • dedicated, enthusiastic, patient and caring.

We welcome applications either from those with experience in supporting learning in the classroom or who have experience in supporting children with a range of other special educational needs, or from graduates, who are looking to gain in-school experience before Teacher Training.

Working 37 hours a week
