The children, staff and Governors of Newington Community Primary School are looking to appoint a full time Head of Year to work in Keystage 2. The right candidate will be able to lead and motivate a team of teachers and support staff to achieve the best possible standards for the children across the year group. Knowledge of data analysis, effective communication skills and the abiltiy to work as part of a team are fundamental to this role. Most importantly, we want an exceptional teacher who loves being in the classroom and can model outstanding practice to their year group colleagues.

This post is suitable for experienced middle leaders who may wish to experience a different school setting and also to those who may be new to year group leadership. The post is not suitable for ECTs.
