Grange Park School is an Autism specific provision for children aged 9 to 19. Our class sizes are small with a maximum of 12 children. The main site is in Wrotham, which caters for students aged 12years -19years and the satellite provision is for children aged 9years -11years, which is in Stansted village, 3.1 miles from the main school site.  

You will be based at the Stansted site which is in the small village of Stansted one of West Kent's best kept secret.  You will be fully supported in your role, both in your daily practice and in our exceptional continual professional development offer provided by the school. We welcome applicants from mainstream schools as comprehensive training in Autism will be provided by the school.

Information about the school

Our School

Grange Park School is an autism specific provision for children aged 11 to 19 located in a purpose built school in Wrotham and for children aged 8-11 located in Stansted village 3 miles from the main school site. The school also operates a post16 provision in partnership with a local college in Maidstone and Medway. All of our pupils have educational heath care plans.

All of our pupils are expected to sit GCSE’s and transition into adulthood with the skills to be successful. Class sizes at the Stansted and Wrotham sites are between 11-13 pupils with a teacher and 1-2 learning mentors. At the partnership college, learning mentors are supporting individual students or small groups of students aged 16-19 years in the college tutor groups / classrooms and out in the community.

Currently judged as “good” by Ofsted. We are committed to providing our pupils with the best possible learning opportunities and supporting them in their development.
