A rare opportunity has arisen to join our successful, happy and forward-thinking school as a Teacher of Mathematics. 

We are looking for an inspirational teacher who would relish the opportunity to ensure our academically able students are engaged and challenged in their learning.

The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for the subject and will enjoy teaching their subject to a high level.

This position is Part Time (0.5 - 0.6 FTE).

Information about the school

Dover Grammar School for Boys is a selective school with a school roll of 800 students. Approximately 200 of these are in the Sixth Form. Girls are admitted to the Sixth Form.

DGSB is on a very exciting journey. Having retained our "Good " OFSTED designation, without condition, in October 2019, we are working hard on every aspect of what we do as we want to become even better. We moved into a £26m new school building in July 2022 and our new accommodation provides us with modern, bright, spacious teaching rooms, and has increased opportunities for students both inside and outside of the taught curriculum.

However, our success both in school – we recorded a fantastic Progress 8 score in 2023 of +0.57 - and within the local community means that we are already looking to expand our site and develop opportunities further.
