Due to the promotion of the existing postholder, we are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager with excellent financial skills and ICT expertise to provide effective day-to-day administration, management and monitoring of the School's finances, working closely alongside the Headteacher and Governors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a person who is dedicated and enthusiastic to working in a school, making it an even better place with their knowledge and skills, where we make sure that every moment counts and want the very best for each individual within our whole school community. The post is term time only plus two weeks, 37 hours a week, working between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Previous experience of working in a school environment is essential.

 The successful candidate will need to be:

  • able to demonstrate a good level of ICT, English and Numeracy skills

  • must have knowledge of a range of financial procedures, including order and invoice processing, bank reconciliations, financial reports, budget setting and account monitoring.
  • be forward thinking, proactive and have a drive to help improve the school beyond its current position.
  • able to enjoy all aspects of school life.
