Are you passionate about ensuring the best outcomes for all children? Are you a strong and inspirational SEN leader seeking an exciting new challenge? If the answer to both questions is yes, then our Trust would love to hear from you!

The Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership (KCSP), is a multi-academy trust (MAT) established by the Archdiocese of Southwark for Catholic education across Kent. Currently a MAT comprising 26 schools (21 primary and 5 secondary), our Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable SEND Leader from September 2024, to lead strategic SEND provision across the organisation.

The post holder will be required to provide leadership and expert professional advice in all aspects of SEND, as well as develop and implement effective strategies, policies, and procedures that reflect best practice. The responsibilities of this role will also include supporting colleagues to ensure SEND provision best meets the needs of pupils in our schools, delivering relevant training to staff across the organisation, and working with a range of colleagues from across the organisation.

Reporting to the Executive Directors of Education for primary and secondary phase, the SEND Leader will build upon and further develop the excellent SEN work already taking place across our family of schools.

The successful applicant will have experience of working as a leader in education or local authority equivalent, and have an up-to-date knowledge of SEND, including national policy, pedagogy, curriculum, assessment, behaviour management strategies, inspection, and statutory requirements.

The successful applicant does not need to be a practising Catholic but will be in sympathy with the Catholic faith and so be able to clearly support our Catholic mission, the work of the Trust and that of the wider Catholic faith.

Please send your letter of application and related application documents directly to Sarah McBennett, Director of Education (Primary) and Mike Walters, Director of Education (Secondary), c/o: office@kcsp.org.uk
