Administrator & Reprographics Clerk - TTO + 5 days

The Post

An efficient, reliable and professional Administrator/Reprographics Clerk is sought for this varied role supporting the office administration team and providing a first class reprographics service to our school body.

An understanding of safeguarding and the demands of a school would be helpful but training will be provided.

Candidates should be reliable and be willing to work as part of a team, providing assistance with anything from copying to first aid to Reception cover.

This is a busy post and is key to the efficient running of the School's administration. A good sense of humour is essential.

Hours are 8.00am-4.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00am-3.30pm Fridays to include a 30 minutes unpaid lunch break, 37 hours in total. The role is term time only (38 weeks per year) with 5 additional days to be worked at the School's discretion. It is likely that three of the staff development days will be worked in the summer holiday and two will be worked at the start of the September term.

The Charles Dickens School (CDS), a state, non-selective, co-educational secondary school joined BCAT on 1 March 2017 and Barton Manor School (BMS), our free school, which is also a non-selective co-educational secondary school opened in September 2022 to Year 7.

OUR SCHOOL

Barton Manor School, is a non-selective 11-18 school located in Canterbury, a 5 minute walk from Barton Court Grammar School. The School is in its second year of opening, with students in Y7 & Y8 only, and when full it will have a shared Sixth Form provision with Barton Court Grammar School providing a wide-range of vocational and academic courses. We have a vision and a determination to provide our community with an excellent school and we are making great strides towards this.
