Are you passionate about serving great food to young people?

If so, come and join Fleetdown Primary Academy as one of our Kitchen Assistants.

The role is for 17.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, term time only. The salary is £22,071 full time equivalent, pro-rata to an actual annual salary of £8,826.83  

Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will play an essential part in ensuring our food service is the best that it can be.

You will need to be flexible and adaptable, and your duties will be varied, including basic food preparation, serving pupils and staff, and of course washing up and helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe. 

As a very important member of our team, you will be expected to undertake training, which you will be paid for, and we will provide you with uniform.  Experience of working in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential, and we welcome applicants seeking a better work life balance and greater flexibility.
