We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, team player to lead our Midday Supervisor team. This includes: supporting the children with eating their food, setting up and putting away tables and benches, wiping surfaces and clearing plates, supervising the children’s behaviour and occasionally coordinating their play activities outside. The lead MDS is also responsible for overseeing the lunchhall and ensuring the team works smoothly and efficiently, coordinating rotas and delegating tasks to individuals as required.

You will need to be a calm, responsible, team player who enjoys being in the company of children. Some experience would be an advantage and a willingness to undertake relevant training is essential.

You will be expected to:

  • Maintain order in the lunch hall, anticipating and dealing with any problems
  • Work as part of a team and direct tasks to individuals as required
  • Communicate clearly and effectively
  • Set up and put away lunch tables and benches
  • Clean surfaces and clear away plates, cutlery etc.
  • Attend to first aid injuries
  • Supervise children while they play

The school are looking for someone to work 5 days per week, Monday - Friday, Term Time only.

2 hours per day, 11:30am – 1:30pm, plus one additional hour per week (adhoc times for additional duties as required by lead role).                                                           

Kent Range 3 - term time only, £23,337 full time equivalent
