Luton Primary School are looking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic SENDCO to join our friendly, inclusive Team.  Do you have the ability to inspire, motivate and support pupils? If so, Luton Primary School could be for you!

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The Ideal SENDCO will have:

  • National SENDCO Award or working towards.
  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Strong behaviour and management skills.
  • Excellent subject knowledge.
  • Good understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the school’s SEN policy.
  • Co-ordinate provision for children with SEN.
  • Liaise with the relevant designated teacher where a ‘looked after’ pupil has SEN.
  • Have commitment and determination to champion our children to meet their potential.
  • Be willing to go above and beyond for the sake of our children and our school.
  • Liaise with parents/carers of pupils with SEN.
  • Working and supporting families for centre children.

Luton Primary School Part of Rivermead Inclusive Trust is a three form Primary and Nursery for children aged 3 to 11 years.
