Advert

We are looking to recruit an outstanding KS2 teacher from September.  ECTs are welcome to apply, as are experienced teachers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to start or continue their professional development at an inclusive and forward-thinking school in the heart of Canterbury.

St John's promotes the achievement of every child within a caring, Christian community.

We believe in nurturing each individual pupil in order for them to reach their full potential. If you share this ethos then this is the school for you!

Our Ofsted report from 2024 states, "The school is considerate of staff’s workload and well-being. Consequently, staff feel valued and supported to improve their teaching for the benefit of pupils."

St John's has excellent facilities including a large field and outside areas, EAL specialist provision, learning hub intervention spaces, a well resourced library, an AstroTurf pitch and nurture provisions.

We are looking for a high quality teacher who can work alongside our team to maintain and build upon the quality of learning in KS2. You will have high expectations for all children and believe in teaching and delivering a stimulating and creative curriculum, which is responsive to the needs and interests of the children at St John's.

Information about the school
