Teacher of Science working across Walderslade Girls’ & Greenacre Academy

Hours: Full time, Permanent 

Location: Greenacre Academy / Walderslade Girls’ School

Plus a one off joining bonus of £2,000, paid in twelve monthly instalments*

We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of Science to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Science and a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons to our students.  If you are a dynamic teacher who is committed to providing the best possible education for secondary school students then we would love to hear from you.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality science lessons to students in accordance with the school’s curriculum and teaching standards.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons, materials, assessments and other resources as required.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the department to share best practices and resources.
  • The ability to excite and inspire our students in their learning.

 Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in science or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • A track record of achieving good results for students.
  • A passion for the subject and a desire to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
