We are looking for a self- motivated and enthusiastic caretaker who will work to maintain a safe and welcoming environment at our wonderful school.  The post is part-time for 10 hours per week.

As a caretaker you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our school site is maintained to the highest standard. The role will include undertaking general repairs such as carpentry, plumbing, cleaning and gardening. You would need to be physically fit and be able to work at heights.

Experience in a similar role would be welcomed but is not essential.

The post would suit someone who has good DIY skills and is happy to learn new skills specific to the role.

Selsted Church of England Primary School is a small, rural, church school situated between Folkestone and Canterbury.

With around 105 children, we are a very small school and pride ourselves on our close knit and caring personal approach to work with each other. Our excellent staff are well supported by parents and the governing body. We strive to enrich the curriculum through creative teaching and learning opportunities, including using the local environment. The school seeks to provide a nurturing environment that supports pupils to gain a love for learning.
